NURSERIES |
|
Infant Nursery
Our Nursery manager and volunteers from our church family care
for these precious infants up until their first birthday.
Adult visitors and members can worship the Lord in comfort knowing
that your children are lovingly cared for in a fully-equipped,
brightly lit and warmly decorated nursery. An extra measure of
security is provided by our electronic paging system that can
quietly and quickly summon parents should the need arise.
Toddler Nursery
During Sunday School the pre-toddlers and toddlers are
taught by a group of dedicated and loving church member volunteers.
These volunteers make sure that things run smoothly for the children
during our morning and evening worship services. Lively
activities and songs channel energy and help the children learn to
play together and to share with others.

SUNDAY SCHOOL |
|
The Children's Sunday School ministry
is for kids ages three through teens and takes place each Sunday
morning beginning at 9:00 A.M. Dedicated volunteers teach your
children using age appropriate Christ centered materials. In
the pre-school classes the children color lesson appropriate
pictures and are taught using illustrated Bible stories. In
the school age classes the children are taught using exciting Bible
lessons with workbooks that allow each child to participate.
Our children create season appropriate crafts to take home.

CHILDREN'S CHURCHES |
|
Pre-School Church
Pre-School
Church for children ages 3 - 5 is held each Sunday during morning
worship service. Our volunteers teach the children using age
appropriate materials, crafts and the Central Baptist Puppet
Ministry.
Children's
Church
Children's Church is held during the morning worship service.
The program is directed by Doug and Sharron Westbrook who take an
active part in each Sunday's program. The children are taught
through Bible lessons that are reinforced each week by practical
life applications through object lessons, games, songs, costumed
character skits and our puppet ministry. Our philosophy is to
allow the children to participate and have fun while learning the
life skills taught in God's Word. The first Sunday of each
month is Family Day and the school age children attend the morning
Worship Service with their parents or guardians.

AWANA CLUBS |
|
A.W.A.N.A.
(Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) is a ministry that provides a
tome for games and competition followed by Bible memorization.
The key verse for AWANA is II Timothy 2:15, "Study to shew
thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth." We have clubs for
children ages 3 through 8th Grade. Clubs start at 6:00 P.M.
and conclude at 7:30 P.M. each Sunday evening during the school
year. These times coincide with the Sunday evening services of
the church.

KIDS REJOICE CHOIR |
|
Faithfully
led by Ralph and Myrna Quinones along with numerous volunteers, this
choir gives an opportunity for kids of all ages to lift their voices
to the Lord in song. The first Sunday of each month is Family
Day and during the morning service, Kids Rejoice performs songs to
the delight of the entire congregation. Twice a year our
children perform a musical drama. These programs are a
wonderful treat and a special blessing for members and visitors
alike. All programs are based on Biblical truths that help the
children understand and embrace the Word of God.
